This square silk scarf is a woven 8mm habotai with bombyx silk with a stitched hand-rolled hem. It is approximately 29” square. The scarf is naturally dyed with a deep fuchsia pink background created by a lac dye bath. It is then eco-printed with maples, trembling aspen, smoke bush, prairie sage, coreopsis, yarrow, marigolds, mountain ash, geraniums, maple pods, weeping birch, and wild rose.
The scarf is 100% fine merino wool handspun and handwoven with tassels in India. Approximately 24” x 82”. A quality piece that will last the test of time: durable, soft, warm, and insulating.
It is ecoprinted with bright pops of electric green, browns, blues, yellows and oranges.
Plants include: wild raspberry, eucalyptus, maples, marigolds, smokebush, sumac, prairie cherry, trembling aspen, tango cosmos, wild rose, onion skins, mountain ash, sumac seeds, and coreopsis.
100% mulberry silk shawl handwoven in India; approximately 36” x 95”. The shawl has a wonderful feel to the hand and drape. The sheen of the silk has a wonderful golden shimmer to it finished with a delicate tassel.
The shawl is eco printed with leaves and pressed flowers with a iridescent salmon copper background created with a eastern brazilwood/madder root dye bath.
Plants include: smoke bush, tartarian maples, amur maple, sumac seeds, geranium, trembling aspen, marigold petals, weeping birch, burr oak, wild rose, and mountain ash.
Each piece is made by hand with foraged leaves and flowers.
